I’m overall feeling pretty pleased with the Iowa caucus. Yep, I’m one of those people who simply wants to end the Clinton Bush dynasty. I want new blood. I want someone who isn’t completely imbedded in special interest. Do I have a pick yet? No. I live in Utah. I pretty much get told by other states who I’m going to vote for. So we’ll see if they pick someone I like for either of the 2 parties or if I do my usual 3rd party vote.
I also saw my cardiologist yesterday and he had pretty good news. My Holter monitor looked fine, except my fast heart beat (tachycardia) with some irregular rhythm (and some other mild irregularities), but nothing horribly serious. He suggested medication but we agreed if I can still live with it I don’t need it yet. I basically need to keep resting to keep my heart rate down and make sure the fluid doesn’t get any larger. The resting has helped, despite the unintentional attempts of my in-laws to thwart my efforts at serenity, so we’re keeping that up until the chest pain goes away (hoping it will on it’s own) or the baby is born. 6 more weeks!! (ish) Back to watching and waiting and sitting around, but at this point it looks like things will resolve on their own. Hurray! Since I can’t completely avoid stress, my new anthem is “Serenity Now!”
That’s a good anthem. Hey–I have the car today. I’m going to call and see if you want to chill. Or want a jamba juice. Or want me to take Larsen off your hands for a little while.

I don’t know WHAT to think about the Primaries, really. It changes every time I turn on the TV.

6 weeks??? That seems like so long, but it will fly by. And see didn’t I tell ya that not getting the results back ASAP would be good news.
