So I just got off the phone with one of my best friends from childhood. We exchanged email and blog addresses and that got me thinking, “oh crap. What’s on my blog again?” This has been something on my mind a lot lately, especially since I talk about my family and post pictures. The original intent of this blog was for random musings and greeny posts. But then dad got cancer and I used it for more personal writings. Not to mention pictures I’ve posted…. The internet is big. And you never know who’s watching. I’m feeling protective of my family. So I’m making some posts password protected and will do my best to get the password out to all the readers I know.

Most folks don’t even consider the digital trails they leave all over the place. Forum posts, e-mail lists, old blogs… someone who knows what pseudonyms to look for can find out a lot about someone who’s been online for years.
