Southwest is having a sale on flights to and from SLC. 50% off!!!!!! Needless to say there’s some pretty good deals here and we’re sorely tempted to use this to go see my in laws in Ohio. Screw the dying computer that needs to be replaced! This is the best deal I’ve seen in, well, ever! Go to Southwest.com and read all the restrictions and dates and stuff.
Oh New Orleans is having the same deal, but come see me instead

You know, just in case anyone in Sacramento wants to fly…not here.
Do you suppose that flights to SLC are down so low that they have to discount so heavily because of all the people protesting Utah due to prop 8? Maybe not as many coming out here for the winter ski season? Or maybe they’re anticipating a drop for that reason? Curious.

they do random cities all the time, it’s just our turn. The idea is supposed to a ski getaway, I guess. But it’d be really interesting if that affected tourism. of course you couldn’t tell because of the way the economy is too….
